ボディには、あえて生産効率の低い、胴周り部分に縫い目のない丸胴が採用されています。丸胴ボディは生産過程で、糸に余分なテンションが加わらず、空気を含んで柔らかくも、コシのある強い生地に編み上がります。また、はぎ目のない服なので、洋服の縫い目が肌に当たらず着心地も良い利点もあります。
生地にはオリジナルの染めと加工が施され、長年着古したたような、中古感、くすんだ色落ち感、フェード感、ビンテージ感の独特の風合いが表現されています。
縫製は四本針ミシンで行われています。この商品は、現在では生産中止となってしまった、ユニオンスペシャル(union special 1460-B四本針ミシン)で縫製されています。60年代のアメリカにおいて、一世を風靡した同マシンも、生産効率の面でネッ クとなり、本国でも今では数が激減し、日本においては、僅かな台数を有するのみとなってしまったミシンです。この縫製により、古き良きアメリカの乾いた匂いが伝わってくるような仕上がりになっています。
また、アームホールや袖の縫製には、フラットシーマで縫製されています。フラットシーマはステッチをかけたときに生地の裏側の縫い代部分の膨らみがなく、肌にあたった時のストレスも少ないフラット(平ら)で、より着心地の良さが高まります。
